Magee Equine to operate from Newlands Stable
Press Release 29th May 2015 - For immediate release Sale of Newlands Stables to Jamie Magee Windsor Clive International are delighted to announce the sale of Newlands Stables in Upper Lambourn to Jamie Magee. Jamie will shortly begin moving his pre training operation, Magee Equine, to its new base which is exceptionally well located for the Jockey Club Estates' gallops at Mandown. The yard has been home to Kim Brassey, Brian Meehan and most recently Brendan Powell. Moving to the 90 box yard will give former National Hunt Jockey, Magee, a vast selection of gallops for the horses within his care. Jamie will be offering recuperation, breaking in and pre-training services from Newlands to the many trainers in the Lambourn Valley and surrounding area. In addition he is brimming with excitement about the ongoing refurbishment of the property and the installation of the first salt water horse tread mills in Lambourn. MaGee says "my new base at the heart of Upper Lambourn, will not only give me the variety of facilities needed but also see that I am extremely well placed for my existing and new clients in the area". George Windsor Clive, the agent who dealt with the sale states "we are now involved in discussions over sales of three training yards in Lambourn so we are seeing the market pick up but we are not seeing price increases".
