David Doel Gets the Europe Call

David from Reybridge Eventing Wiltshire successfully completed the final trial at Somerford Park to be selected for the British Eventing Young Rider European Team. He will be riding Miss Caruso owned by Mrs Jane James. David worked hard for his qualification after having had a rotational fall at Houghton in May breaking his collar bone, he had to rest for three weeks before bouncing back and winning the CIC 2* at Barbury Castle International Horse trials, and in order to qualify he had to travel to Camphire in Ireland and complete a CCI 2* which he won by 8 marks. The team travel to Vale Sabroso Portugal in September where David won the individual bronze medal riding Kings Cross and Team Gold riding for the U18 team in 2011.
