Introduction Newlands Stables is a busy training yard at the very foot of Mandown Gallops in Upper Lambourn, indeed, it is arguably the best placed yard in the Lambourn training complex. There is an excellent office with mess room facilities. In the corner of the quadrangle is a 2 bedroom flat. There are two tack rooms.
The Yard is renowned for its two lunge rings, horse walker and canter track around the paddock, all centrally placed.
Directions Post Code RG17 8QT From M4 Junction 14, take the A338 towards Wantage, then first left onto the B4000. After about 3 miles turn right to Lambourn. At the entrance to the village turn left, then right, then left on Upper Lambourn Road. After a mile take the right turn into Upper Lambourn, follow the road round to the left, turn right into Maddle Road, the yard is on the left after the left bend.
