Introduction

Le Haras de Lianger is a well proven training yard, from where Eoghan O'Neill has sent out many group and listed race winners, including a winner of the Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot. It is in a superb place to reach many of France's better known racecourses.

Location

Le Haras de Lianger is located close to the village of Igé in department of the Orne, 10 km south of the pretty town of Bellême, one hour from the city of Le Mans and 2 hours drive west of Paris. Its proximity to the A11 motorway gives it great access to racecourses across the northwest of France: Vincennes, Longchamp, Auteuil and Saint-Cloud are all approximately 2 hours away. Similarly, it is 2 hours from Deauville.

Description

Accessed by a 200m driveway, the 44-hectare (108 acre) property consists of a large house, a one-bedroom apartment and extensive facilities for racehorse training, pretraining, rehabilitation or use as a stud.

The House

The house extends to over 3,000 sq. feet across 2 floors, partly above a cellar.

The Paddocks

With around 100 acres of well fenced paddocks, there is adequate space to operate a stud farm.
